Q: How old do you have to be to operate a jetski at Long Beach Watersports?
A: We require that every operator is at least 18 yrs old with a valid drivers license or boaters card
Q: How old do you have to be to rent a jetkski or pontoon boat?
A: You must be at least 21 years old and have a drivers license and credit or debit card in your name.
Q: Have far can we ride on the jetskis or pontoons?
A: We allow you to ride in the entire Long Beach Bay (inside the breakwall). Approximately 5 miles by 2 miles of water.
Q: Are there any other fees to rent?
A: Yes, we charge California and port fees, as well as damage waiver (insurance) fees.
Q: What does the damage waiver (insurance) cover?
A: If you damage a ski or pontoon, regardless of fault, you will be responsible for a maximum deductible of $1500 for any damage. This must be paid before you leave our dock.
Q: What else do I need to know?
A: Every rider must bring a drivers license or boaters card when they arrive at our dock. In addition, every rider must complete the waiver to ride.
Q: What is the maximum weight for a jetski?
A: If you are riding by yourself, it is 275lbs. Double riders cannot exceed 400lbs.
